DeltaClimeVT climate economy accelerator selects entrepreneurs for Energy 2024 cohort | Vermont Business Magazine

Austin Technology Incubator (ATI) at The University of Texas is excited to announce that its portfolio company, Induction Food Systems (IFS), has been selected as one of the cohort companies for The Vermont Sustainable Jobs Fund’s Energy 2024 program!

IFS creates heating equipment for industrial clients, enhancing profitability and reducing carbon emissions in their operations. Its patented heating platform, utilizing a unique “middle-out” approach, enhances critical heating metrics by eight times compared to traditional alternatives. This breakthrough technology unlocks greater manufacturing productivity, particularly benefiting the food & beverage and chemical sectors.

The Vermont Sustainable Jobs Fund (VSJF) has announced the selection of the Energy 2024 cohort for the DeltaClimeVT climate economy business accelerator. This program aims to support early-stage energy companies in contributing to Vermont’s renewable energy and net-zero goals.   Eight companies from the U.S. and Canada will participate in a three-month program that includes intensive work sessions, both online and in-person, focusing on topics such as electrification, load management, heat pumps, and climate resilience.

Participants will have access to the world-class ecosVC™ curriculum and will work towards reducing greenhouse gas emissions to help Vermont meet its climate objectives. They will also compete for a $25,000 non-equity prize and the opportunity to collaborate with Vermont utilities.

ATI is proud of IFS and it’s continued growth in our incubator.
