Dear ATI entrepreneurs, mentors, and friends –
I hope that this message finds you and your families well and as comfortable as possible during this challenging and uncertain time.
I am writing to let you know that, despite the COVID-19 crisis, the Austin Technology Incubator remains committed to our mission to help entrepreneurs commercialize their innovations and compete in the global marketplace.
That task has become more difficult for you and for us, but it hasn’t slowed down. By moving our operations online, we are still holding quarterly reviews with ATI member companies and TEXVMS mentoring sessions as always. We are still connecting our members with investors and the resources they need to perfect their products and hone their pitches. We are still accepting applications to join ATI and going through our usual rigorous due diligence process to find the most promising startups.
The ATI directors and I have spoken with many of you directly about your companies’ specific needs. Please continue to stay in touch. The business landscape is changing dramatically from day to day. As new challenges and opportunities appear, by all means call us to talk about how we can help.
There is no shortage of information in this crisis but finding the best of it is difficult. We have assembled a web page at https://ati.utexas.edu/covid19/ with links to the most important resources from the city, state and federal governments as well as other carefully selected sources. Our partners are hosting webinars on a near daily basis about crucial, breaking topics including HR during the pandemic, the brand-new legislation from Washington, and how to apply for SBA loans. Please visit our Events page and subscribe to our newsletter to keep up on those opportunities.
Most of all, please know that ATI, our TEXVMS mentors, and the Central Texas startup community have your back. Tough times bring out the best in a community like ours. Together we will find a way to help your startups survive this pandemic and thrive when we come out the other side.
Stay safe, healthy and in touch!
