The Austin Technology Incubator is pleased to welcome EGP Eco LLC to its portfolio of member companies.
EGP Eco has joined ATI to help address the world’s escalating water shortage by making water work more efficiently. EGP Eco is working to bring to market four water reduction technologies that promise to drastically reduce the water requirements for agriculture irrigation, fire extinguishment, dust suppression, and soil stabilization.
The world’s population and demands for water have never been higher. Ever growing stats indicate there are over 700 million people in 43 countries who suffer today from water scarcity. By the year 2025, 1.8 billion people are expected to be living in countries or regions with absolute water scarcity; with two thirds of the world population under water stress conditions.
EGP Eco’s portfolio of ground-breaking, environmentally-friendly technologies address water scarcity across a variety of industries and applications: WaterGold™ for crop and lawn irrigation, DustHawk™ for dust suppression, BaseBuilder™ for roadway and pipeline construction, and FireKyll™ for rapid fire extinguishment of class A and B fires. “Our technologies not only have the ability to reduce the amounts of water needed, but more importantly, they have the power to save lives and change the world,” said EGP Eco President John Sheldon.
“We look forward to working with EGP Eco to connect them with the expertise, relationships, and funding sources they need to help them transition into a high growth technology leader in water efficiency solutions,” commented Mitch Jacobson, director of the Austin Technology Incubator.
