SXSWEco-logoFriday, March 11 at 2 p.m. – SXSW Eco Startup Speed Pitches at the Startup Village inside the Hilton Hotel at 500 E. 4th St. Mitch Jacobson, ATI Clean Energy Incubator co-director, will emcee this recap of October’s SXSW Eco. ATI energy and data analytics company Bractlet is among the 15 companies participating.


accelerator-2016-color-logoSaturday & Sunday, March 12 & 13 – SXSW Accelerator Pitch Competition at the Startup Village inside the Hilton Hotel at 500 E. 4th St. Cindy WalkerPeach, ATI Bio/Health Sciences director and part of the Accelerator’s Qualifying Committee, will watch pitches and product demos from 48 interactive technology companies selected from hundreds of startups around the globe presented before a panel of judges. Awards Ceremony begins at 7 p.m. March 13.

Sunday, March 13 from 3 – 5 p.m. – How Crowdsourcing is Tackling Cancer, HIV/AIDS, Clean Water, and More at the IBM Cognitive Studio at the Vince Young Steakhouse at 301 San Jacinto Blvd. Various ATI team members will learn from the World Community Grid team about how this global volunteer community is accelerating scientific discovery.

Sunday, March 13 from 4 – 8 p.m. Nordic Startup Pitch Battle at the Oslo Lounge inside Brass House at 115 San Jacinto Blvd. ATI Director Isaac Barchas will join a panel of judges to evaluate the best tech startups from Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Norway.
