ATI Invites Companies to Apply to Autotech Startup Showcase

twsAUSTIN, Texas, Sept. 20, 2016 — The Austin Technology Incubator invites startups to apply to the Autotech Startup Showcase to be held during Texas Wireless Summit 2016 on Oct. 18 at the Blanton Museum of Art in Austin.

Companies selected for the showcase will compete for a $5,000 prize to be awarded by an expert panel of judges. The showcase moderator will be Kathleen Baireuther of ATI’s Clean Energy Incubator, who is developing a transportation/mobility practice at ATI.

Eligible startups can be at any stage, but should have raised less than $5 million in outside funding to be eligible to participate. The showcase is particularly interested in companies addressing three aspects of automation: communication, sensing, and data analytics/machine intelligence. Companies and technologies that address the requirements of connectivity, the key challenges of sensing at the vehicle, and at the promise of shared sensing and data analytics more broadly are also invited to apply.

The application deadline is midnight on Sept. 25 and may be summited through the Texas Wireless Summit website:
